David Yeager is an assistant professor of developmental psychology at the University of Texas at Austin and a fellow of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. He holds a B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame and earned both an M.A. in psychology and a Ph.D. in developmental and psychological science from Stanford University. His work focuses on psychological theories and interventions to increase student motivation and on social scientific methodology. He is a former middle school teacher and has a passion for using experimental research to create educational equity.
