Bio

Lawrence Morales is an improvement specialist in the Carnegie Hub. He is responsible for helping to build Carnegie's improvement research infrastructure and supporting the Statway, Quantway, and Learning Teaching communities in applying improvement research practices to their work. This includes designing and implementing agile improvement processes for the Statway and Quantway network improvement communities.

Prior to joining the Foundation, he was a tenured faculty member in mathematics at Seattle Central Community College for 16 years, and served as the chair of that department. He also taught for Seattle University's MBA program for over 15 years. He holds a BA in mathematics from California State University at Northridge, an MS in pure mathematics from Brown University, and a Ph.D. in learning sciences and educational psychology from the University of Washington.
