Carnegie President Anthony Bryk and Scholar-in Residence and Learning Matters CEO John Merrow are participating this week in a conference at Google headquarters sponsored by Sesame Workshop with Google and Common Sense Media. “Breakthrough Learning in a Digital Age” is a conference of 200 thought leaders who will come together to discuss solutions to the literacy and dropout problems facing the nation. Another participant, Esther Wojcicki, who has connections to Carnegie because of her participation in the Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, blogs about the conference for the Huffington Post.
