Carnegie convened participants of the Assessing-Teaching-Improving Learning (ATIL) project for the third time to examine ways to dramatically increase educational productivity through support of the professional workforce. This diverse group, with participants from government, public schools, design and research centers, analyzed and debated the necessary conditions and measures needed to inform the research and development policy agenda that would improve human capital processes. Carnegie interviewed three participants: Drew Furedi from Talent Management at LAUSD, Leo T. M. Brown from the Kansas City Schools, and Mónica Vásquez of the New Teacher Project.
