The Carnegie Classifications of Institutions of Higher Education
The leading typology of American colleges and universities. It is the framework in which institutional diversity in U.S. higher education is commonly described. The Classifications, updated in 2005, can be searched via three methods: institution lookup, standard listings, and custom listings.

Carnegie Publications
Information on Carnegie Foundation publications since 1906. A listing of all Carnegie publications can be viewed at the browse by topic page. The eLibrary contains a collection of articles and essays available for online reading or download, including the 1910 Flexner Report.

Other key pages can be located thorugh the site navigation bar, including Carnegie Perspectives, Change Magazine, the Contact Information page, the Newsroom, and the Staff Directory.
