Abstract:
The Professional Preparation of Teachers for American Public Schools, authored by William S. Learned and William C. Bagley, et al., studies the tax-supported normal schools of that state, together with an examination of the general principles of organization, administration, and curriculum construction in teacher-training agencies in the United States. A request from the governor and state superintendent of public schools in Missouri initiated the report.
