Registration Fees

SUMMIT PRE-CONFERENCE COURSES (APRIL 3)

$575 — Standard Rate

Summit pre-conference registration provides you with access to a full-day course on April 3 with continental breakfast and lunch. In order to participate in the pre-conference, you must also be registered to attend the general conference.

SUMMIT GENERAL CONFERENCE (APRIL 4-5)

$985 — Standard Rate
$885 — Group Rate
$885 — Federal Government Rate
$695 — Full-Time Student Rate
$695 — K-12 Teacher Rate

Summit general conference registration provides you with access to all keynotes, breakout sessions, and receptions on April 3-5. Continental breakfast and lunch are provided on April 4-5. Pre-conference courses on April 3 require a separate registration fee.

Special Rates

GROUP RATE

A group of five or more people from the same organization registering together at the same time will automatically receive a discounted rate of $885 per person. To access this rate, have the primary contact register first by filling in the registration information page. On the Registration Summary page, select “Add Person for Group Registration” to register another person from your organization. Add as many people from your organization as you wish, then select “Finish Adding People.” On the Submit Payment page you will see $100 deducted from each person’s registration rate. The group discount cannot be applied retroactively so be sure to register your entire group together in one registration session. Please note that the group discount is also only applicable to the general attendee registration rate and cannot be combined with the special federal government, full-time student, or K-12 teacher registration rates.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT RATE

The federal government rate of $885 is applicable to federal government employees only. To access this rate, please email summitreg@carnegiefoundation.org with a copy of your government ID or an official letter confirming your status. Upon verification, a discount code will be provided for you to complete registration.

FULL-TIME STUDENT RATE

A limited number of student registrations are available at the special rate of $695. Only full-time students, both undergraduate and graduate, who are currently attending an accredited, degree-granting college or university, are eligible for the student rate. To access this rate, choose “Full-Time Student” from the dropdown menu on the registration information. To qualify for this rate, you must upload a copy of your student ID or an official letter confirming your status during the registration process.

K-12 TEACHER RATE

A limited number of teacher registrations are available at the special rate of $695. Only full-time teachers at K-12 institutions are eligible for the teacher rate. The teacher rate does not apply to faculty members teaching at higher education institutions. To access this rate, choose “K-12 Teacher” from the dropdown menu on the registration information. To qualify for this rate, you must upload a copy of your school ID or an official letter confirming your status during the registration process.

Registration Policies

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Refunds are limited to conference fees paid, and do not include any travel, lodging, transportation, or other fees paid independently of conference registration. Cancellations completed for conference registrations on or before 11:59pm PST March 5, 2018, will receive a full refund minus a $100 per person processing fee. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made beginning 12:00am PST on March 6, 2018, and after, or for no-shows. Substitutions can be made at any time for no processing fee, and must be requested by the original attendee to the registration manager (summitreg@carnegiefoundation.org). If a cancellation is completed for an attendee who has received a group discount (five or more registered together), the discount will no longer apply if the cancellation causes the group size to drop to four or less. The regular registration rate will be applied to the remaining group members, and they will be responsible for the difference.

CONSENT TO USE PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES

By registering and attending this event, you acknowledge that photographs and/or videos of you may be taken by our conference staff and/or hired photographers at any time. Furthermore, you grant the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching permission to use photographs and/or video of your likeness in any type of media, including websites and print publications, without compensation or reward.

CONSENT TO USE ATTENDEE INFORMATION

The Carnegie Foundation may publish a list of event participants including your name, title, and organization as listed on the registration form. We will not publish your email address or contact information. By registering for this event, you grant permission for the Carnegie Foundation to use your information for these purposes unless you have opted-out on the personal information page during the registration process. In addition, the Carnegie Foundation may contact you to share information about upcoming events and programs.
