Karon Klipple directs the Carnegie Math Pathways program, a networked improvement community of over 50 colleges across the country working collectively to change the way that students learn math and help them gain the skills they need to be successful in their careers and in their lives. She has over twelve years of experience in teaching and mathematics program reform, most recently at San Diego City College, where she was associate professor of mathematics, and five years experience as a product manager for scientific software. She has taught statistics and mathematics at the community college, high-school and university level. She holds a B.A. in mathematics from Trinity University and a Ph.D. in statistics from Texas A&M University.
