Manuelito Biag serves as the managing director of the Carnegie Foundation’s Center for Postsecondary Innovation. In this role, he leads an international portfolio of projects aimed at increasing students' social and economic mobility. He also serves as senior associate, where he provides instructional, coaching, and research support in the area of networked improvement science.

Prior to Carnegie, Manuelito served as senior researcher at the John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities at the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University. While there, he supported research-practice partnerships focused on a range of issues including school climate and college readiness. His work has been presented in professional conferences, community forums, and published in academic journals, edited volumes, and research briefs.

Manuelito earned a doctorate (Ph.D.) in education policy from the University of California, Davis.
