Gary Otake is a program technologies specialist at Carnegie, where he works on production and strategy for the Foundation's efforts in web, video and online communications. Prior to joining Carnegie in 2000, he was an instructor in Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University and at City College of San Francisco. He also has served as a curator for an internationally traveling exhibition on Japanese American baseball and was a touring musician for nine years. Gary has a M.A. in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in philosophy from UC San Diego.
