Bio

Jane Muhich is directing the work of Quantway, Carnegie's community college quantitative literacy mathematics pathway. Before coming to Carnegie, Jane was Director of Learning Support Initiatives at Seattle Central Community College and a longstanding member of their mathematics faculty. As Director of Learning Support Initiatives she developed, implemented, and analyzed student data for Seattle Central’s Achieving the Dream student success initiatives. She is bringing her previous student success work to bear in the student development/engagement piece of Carnegie’s community college mathematics pathways. Jane holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from UCLA, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis on mathematics education and adult learners, from the University of Washington.
