Casserly says openness spurs innovation.

Carnegie Vice President for Innovation and Open Networks Cathy Casserly spoke recently with Timothy Vollmer of Creative Commons. The interview is posted on the Creative Commons blog. Vollmer asked Casserly about the advancement of Open Educational Resources (OER) through policy change at the local, state, federal and international levels. In Vollmer’s interview, Casserly talked about sustainability, challenges to integrating OER in education reform, and the infrastructure role of Creative Commons.

Casserly is also a member of the board of directors at Creative Commons and a longtime leader, strategist and advocate of OER.
