Present-Day Law Schools in the United States and Canada Bulletin Number Twenty-one
A study, by Alfred Z. Reed, of the organization and curriculum of law schools resulted in Present-Day Law Schools in the United States and Canada. Reed placed a special emphasis upon the time element in legal education. Among the topics discussed are the relation between law and politics, the supervision and improvement of law schools by professional associations and bar admission authorities, the academic affiliations and financial resources of law schools, their entrance requirements, the length of their course, summer sessions, the elective system, and the problem of the night, or "part-time," law school.
