Centering Equity Throughout the Improvement Journey (Repeated Session)

75-min | In-Person

To make meaningful progress on long-standing inequities within our systems, improvers need to be intentional about integrating equity practices within our improvement efforts. In this session, we will discuss how improvers might take an equity lens while applying the diverse tools and methods of improvement science throughout an improvement journey. We will introduce important considerations for improvers to attend to and provide examples of practices that can help promote  equity while making progress toward ambitious aims. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on how they might apply these strategies in their own contexts and share ideas with others.
