From High School to College: Choice and Transition Video

Produced by the Carnegie Foundation in conjunction with The College Board, this video demystifies the process of choosing a college and provides students with concrete information about such issues as preparing for college while in high school, testing, campus visits, orientation, and the freshman year. Included in this unique program is a separate, twelve-minute section, “Financing College,” which explains basic financial-aid procedures, describes where to go for information about scholarships and grants, work-study programs, and subsidized loans. It also outlines college costs and where savings may be possible.
