Two Hundred Universities and School Districts Form Networked Improvement Community on Mathematics Instruction

We are not surprised that “Organizing a Network for Collective Action” is one of the one of the top ten Carnegie Commons Blog posts of 2016. The post describes how a national consortium of over 100 universities and over 100 school systems reorganized itself as a networked improvement community to address the undersupply of new secondary mathematics teachers who are well prepared to help their students attain the goals of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.
