Improvement science as practiced in healthcare remains a valuable learning resource for those of us practicing it in education. A video published by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement caught our attention. As we watched Dr. Mike Evans introduce the concepts of quality improvement in health care, we noted how his approach to system design and his model of improvement in healthcare lend themselves to quality improvement in education.
