Partners in School Innovation is a hub for the ESA Transformation Network, focused on increasing the portion of MLL (multilingual learners), Latinx, and SED (socio-economically disadvantaged) students who are successfully on track in 8th grade and ready to succeed in high school. In 2020-2021, the network hub enrolled school teams in a shared theory of improvement, narrowing the focus to four specific change ideas. Student voice efforts spread across the network as student insights catalyzed swift changes in teacher and leader practices. We will share specific examples from our sites and highlight efforts to create tighter feedback loops for progress monitoring.
