Please join us in congratulating Edit Khachatryan, senior associate of Networked Improvement Science at Carnegie Foundation. She has contributed to the publication Catalytic Improvement Communities: Cultivating Flourishing Schools, by Johnathan Eckert and Bradley Carpenter.

Edit, alongside Emma Parkerson, co-founder of Systems Design Lab, co-authored the chapter “Learning to Lead: Improvement Communities as a Scaffold for Teachers’ Leadership.” It examines the organizational structures and roles within three different improvement communities to demonstrate how various educational contexts support this development. This chapter adds valuable insight into the broader discussion of how Networked Improvement Communities (NICs) can cultivate flourishing school leadership and sustainable school improvement.
