Attendee Resources

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2021 Carnegie Foundation Summit on Improvement in Education! To help you prepare for the Summit, including how you will engage in the expanded virtual learning and networking opportunities, we have outlined important information below. The 2021 Summit spans two weeks and includes three keynotes, 130 sessions, 42 posters, and eight networking activities.  You can check out all the details on the Summit Schedule-at-a-Glance (PDF).

Access all Summit programming on the Summit Web Platform

All Summit programming (except for the pre-conference courses) will be accessible via the Summit Web Platform. The Summit Web Platform is where you will view and join sessions, download slides and resources, and engage in networking activities.

To access the Summit Web Platform, go to https://crowd.cc/2021carnegiesummit or go to your mobile device’s app store and download the Carnegie Foundation Summit app.

Access to the Summit Web Platform will be available to registrants on Monday, April 19.

Begin the verification process by logging in with your name and email address as it appears on your Summit registration. To complete the process, enter the 6-digit verification code that is then sent to your email. Once logged in, fill out your profile by following the prompts of the set-up wizard. This will allow other attendees to view your contact information, including your email address and social media accounts, so you can build connections with other improvers during and after the event.

Start planning your Summit experience by adding sessions to your schedule, such as on-demand sessions, office hours, as well as live sessions, scheduled for April 26-28. Explore the Summit Web Platform and check out everything Summit 2021 has to offer. For example, in addition to viewing sessions, you can submit topics for the Unconference, post to the job board, and view the improvement resources section

Check your tech

All live Summit programming will utilize Zoom. Please be sure to have installed the “Zoom Client for Meeting” at https://zoom.us/download prior to the event. If you already have the Zoom desktop client on your computer, do check for updates that Zoom regularly provides to release new features and fix bugs. And to ensure the best experience, we recommend pre-testing out your Zoom video and audio at https://zoom.us/test.
